Text Box: A must see event—TRULY AMAZING!

The FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology) Robotics Competition is an exciting, multinational competition that teams professionals and young people to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way. The program is a life-changing, career-molding experience—and a lot of fun.  In 2007, the competition reached over 32,675 high-school-aged young people on over 1,307 teams in 37 regional events.

Last year, The West Michigan regional event hosted over 53 high school teams, mostly from Michigan, but others from out of state.
This year's 2007 event promises to be bigger and better!
Unique, high-tech, sophisticated robots (& their student developers) will compete in a highly energized, rock concert atmosphere, surrounded by hundreds of volunteers, amazing people, and gracious corporate sponsors.
Come cheer them on and get involved!
